We started with our Namaste Song, sung for our friend Kellie, she loved it.
Started in the Rock, then into Puppy Stretch, Table Top, then Cat/Cow, into Down Dog, back to the Rock.
Then in Dandasana, we made Cooper cheese & bologna sandwiches, Ellie's favorite sandwich, since we were going on a "picnic". Found magic cheese and meat and mayo in the sky (arm stretches), then put the sandwich together all over our bodies--patted everything down, even did a Thymus Tap.
We then did Forward Bends to close the sandwich up.
Suddenly ants came along (Inverted Table Top) and scooted around eating one another's sandwiches. We all agreed they tasted good (alternated outstretched leg, toes "eating", in inverted table top).
Came back to the Rock.
Then we became Pill Bugs, rolling back on our mats with our knees hugged to chest, then back up without toughing our feet to the mat.
Back to the Rock.
Miss Becky, in the Rock, was a bug we all wanted to turn over, so we crept over, rolled her onto her back and got a big surprise when her arms and legs were waving all over the place. Checked her mandibles.
Then Kellie lay on her back, head to Becky's head, and they both put their arms and legs into the air, making a spider.
We all paired up to make spiders.
Ran back to our own mats and went into the Rock.
Then we became Snug As A Bug In A Rug--in other words, we all got rolled up into our mats! Very comfortable! Rolled and unrolled several times, then ran back to our own mats, went into the Rock.
We then rested in Savasana. I gave everyone Breathing Buddies and they all became little bugs in the grass, safe and sound. I waved a rainbow scarf over everyone's head, a rainbow in the sky for the bugs.
We came up to Easy Pose, shared the names of our Breathing Buddies, said Namaste to one another, then rolled out mats up and put them away.
The girls continued to go around the room saying Namaste to objects, it was very funny.
WE had a lot of fun with this session!
